i saw a picture similar to this, basically explaining that pictures of scars and cuts should not be seen as beautiful or mesmerizing in any positive way. so i made one that somewhat adds on to that…
i am told to embrace my scars, and that they are apart of who i am. they tell my story and will remind me of my past and show others i am strong and a fighter. i don’t want that. i really, really don’t want that. i don’t want these scars, i don’t want to hide myself away, i don’t want looks, i don’t want to be reminded i hurt myself. i don’t want to think of what i was feeling when i did this, and i don’t want others to get an idea.
